Located near the inside steering station it is conveniently accessible to the single-handed pilot but separated from the main salon enough to give the cook ample workspace out of traffic. Designed for extensive coastal cruising this galley functions well with its stainless propane cook top Seaward propane control Microwave stainless sink and faucet. Refrigerator and freezer are under the counter with a teak door. The refrigerator drains overboard. Generous storage for even large cookware is under the sink with a full-extension drawer under oven utensil and accessory drawers near the cook top and plate and glassware storage under the lift-up hinged countertop. The excellent ventilation makes this galley a pleasant work area in all climates.
Accommodations
Large owner's stateroom forward featuring an island double berth hanging lockers drawer storage hatches and ports for ventation and light. The stateroom has en-suite head to port with a Electric head and separate stall shower to starboard. Up the companion way is a large salon featuring a lower helm to starboard nicely layed out galley to port. Aft in the salon is an L-shaped dinette on the port side and a straight settee to starboard (which converts into a double berth) great area for entertainment and dinning. The entire cabin interior is made with Burmese teak with teak and holly sole. Grand Banks are known for their craftsmenship throughout!

Long keel 26000 lb displacement hard chine and a deep forefoot hull provide stability and seaworthiness. The fiberglass Grand Banks 36 is also luxurious. Teak joinery work by old-world hand craftsmen gives a practical beauty above and below decks. The cabin soles are teak parquet throughout. The main decks and flybridge are teak planked. Extensive locker and drawer space are made out of golden Burmese teak. The upholstery and drapes are selected to complement the warm look of the surrounding teak. Whether you are motoring around the bay or you're hundreds of miles at sea quiet single diesel engine are made quieter by the use of special engine room sound insulation. These smooth heavy-duty engines provide long-range economical operation. GRAND BANK 36: Successor to the wooden 36 introduced in the 1960s these boats enjoy the improvements and refinements of over 30 years.
