Owner reports that one of the draws to this model is the out of the way traveler mounted on cabin top and the large cockpit which accommodates 9 people. Port side shallow lazarette with teak box and drains. Starboard has deep lazarette and side access to motor and 20g aluminum diesel tank. Stern starboard side propane tank lazarette. Propane system electrical control panel already installed. NO STOVE. Ready for new gimballed stove.
Standing rigging is rod type. No meat hangars from strand wire on shrouds.
Interior has had a lot of teak veneer replaced on drawers, cabinets and walls. Glued then varnished.
3" insulated ice box in galley: holds 120 canned drinks approximately.
One starboard 47 gallon fresh water tank under port side settee. New hoses replaced and new overflow hose and vent installed in back of closet with loop. All through hull valves are shut off type brass.
One compact Jabsco head with 25 gallon holding tank. Y valve installed for off shore pumping overboard. Currently locked for Santa Catalina Island trips. Deck mounted pump out inlet.
Fresh water cooled Perkins with exhaust lines running hose to stern.
There are no signs of damage to the outside nor to the inside of hull. Molded glass fastenings and glassed beams for engine mount. Battery terminals are clean and tight. The good quality Coast Guard,ABYC, approved ABS cables are secured to the bulkheads where needed going to the engine and control panels.
The bilge area is clean. Thru hull fittings and valves are in good condition. Good quality hoses used on valves. Good quality hose clamps used and doubled. Fuel tank has approved A-1 fuel hose with proper fittings on the ends, and is secured to the bulkheads where needed going to the engine and the return line from the Diesel engine.
